Start with your homemade buttermilk & cold butter (homemade butter is always preferred).

In a bowl place 1cup flour, 1Tbs baking power, 1Tb of salt give power a good mix then add 3Tbs cold butter. smash butter thoroughly into flour. Ideally you want pea size balls of butter in your flour. Now, add 3/4cup buttermilk and mix. If your dough is sticky add more flour. Once mixed dump on a floured surface and roll out with a rolling pen. Cut biscuits with cutter, place on oiled pan. Bake at 375 for 20 mins or until golden, butter the tops & enjoy!!
